SOLEIL measurements
The past week myself and the team from INRA measured wood samples at the SOLEIL DiffAbs X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) beamline. Although the staffing was a bit short due to COVID measurements, we still managed to complete most of our planned measurements.
In all, samples are relatively small compared to the infrastructure used to measure them. To get a feeling of the scale of the infrastructure I’ve put together an immersive virtual tour.
