Synchrotron funding acquired

I’m happy to announce that the co-funding proposal for the SOLEIL synchrotron has been approved. The COBADIM team is go for two runs of a week at the particle accelerator in Paris.

The proposal covers the beamtime as well as the room and board for 3 researchers during the experiment. This is key as people rotate through a 24h schedule measuring continuously.

We will measure a wide range tree cores, both tropical and temperate species. A list of exact species will be determined in the weeks before the experiment.
